You might not know this..

But I struggled for a long while to get the life I have today. Throughout my ambitious teen years. I was always a high achiever. There wasn’t a club I wasn’t signed up for.

Seriously.

Don’t be fooled by my cheerful smile and happy marriage. My life wasn’t always like this.

Between youth orchestra, cheerleading, band, debate team, Saturday Science, high honors, SAT prep, I lived in a whirlwind!

I graduated at the top of the class with college credits. I went on to earn over $200,000 in scholarships to attend college.

You might ask why somebody was so ambitious at such a young age.

The short answer is freedom.

I was on a quest, and education was my ticket.

My story is similar to many high performers, complete with overbearing parents.

My father was overprotective, but he had a good reason.

Our lives changed in an instant when I was three years old and my mother died in a car accident.

Fast forward a couple of years and several decisions I made after college led me to a failed marriage, threatened my career, and depleted my bank account. After being independent for years, I had to move back home.

Like you, I felt fatigued all the way to my bones.

19 years of school didn’t turn into stability.

All those years of sitting in the library while everybody else was having fun didn’t turn into fulfillment.

My dream of becoming a doctor wasn’t leading to happiness.

Burnout almost took me OUT.

And I knew that something had to change.

So I decided to stop complaining and made up my mind to have more time and freedom, to lose the weight, to travel, and to bounce back from failure. I wasn’t going to wait for some job to validate me or pay me what I’m worth.

The most important change I made was that I decided what my own success would look like!

Does any of this sound familiar?

I’ve been there.

And it was so frustrating.

Because something inside told me I had to keep going, but that there had to be a better way.

I was sick of watching another birthday, another new year roll around..

There was this small part of me that felt like I was always right on the edge of success.

But it was just beyond the reach of my fingertips.

I looked at every area of my life;

As if I was back in high school, I took to my life like a difficult math problem and slowly took it apart piece by piece.

By looking at where I rated my level of fulfilment in each of these areas I could see how big the gap was, between where I actually wanted to be and where I was in that moment.

I could see my life from 10,000 feet high and reverse engineer my way from average to excellence.

For every area of my life I created actionable pathways to follow.

Checklists that I could lean on even on my darkest days.

Small, actionable steps that if checked off every day would lead to massive gains in my life if I was consistent.

My successful coaching business..

My happy marriage to this wonderful man..

I’m not here to talk about my success.
